Photo Session, Barbara and Ben

Last week I met up with Barbara and Ben in downtown Asheville for our photo session. Recently moved to town from Florida, Barbara is a local dj on 98.1 and Ben is a singer/songwriter musician. They've been together since they met in college and it was great to photograph a couple that has so much history. We were downtown for the photos, in the late afternoon.

Asheville Photography Session, Melissa and Todd

About a month ago I met up with Melissa and Todd for a session that began at their apartment, just outside downtown. I mixed digital images with medium format film images from a Holga (the square photos). From the apartment we headed out to the river arts district, I love the rich details of older structures coupled with the shots using kudzu in the background.
